“Team and Leadership Center (TLC) provided a great augmentation to SMP’s last strategic planning session. The extremely qualified personnel at the TLC worked with us to understand our team and then created an agenda specifically relevant to our needs. SMP considers this a new resource for our company going forward.”

-Brad Everette, Marketing and Business Development Manager, SMP Data Communications

“On behalf of our staff and students, I would like to thank you and all your incredibly amazing staff for the opportunity of a lifetime! Not only did you meet my expectations you soared way beyond what I imagined this experience would afford our students … This experience assisted them with becoming a cohesive group who have strengthened their ability to rely on and trust each other.”

-Frances P. Red Arrow, Pine Lake Preparatory

“I wanted to take a minute to thank you and your staff for the outstanding job that you guys did with our On Track kids last year. It was wonderful for us (the Officers) to see these kids conquer their fears, learn to trust each other, and work together to solve problems and complete some pretty difficult tasks. I truly believe that the patience and professionalism of you and your staff allowed these kids to feel more at ease and comfortable, allowing them to then lower their guard and really enjoy their experience.”

-Rebecca Bays, Sergeant, School Resource Program, Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office

“Our youth had a fantastic time and really enjoyed the challenging activities. The activities provided opportunities for our youth to push themselves and take calculated risks. When it was time to go, they wanted to stay longer.”

-Tom Campbell, President, Black Mountain Home for Children, Youth, & Families

“Thanks again for giving our kids the opportunity to experience a ropes course and climbing wall. It was amazing to see our kids work together and problem solve…this really helped them to see their own strengths and weaknesses and gave the opportunity to be able to encourage their peers in a positive way. I really liked the way you processed each initiative with the kids.”

-Kristy Eubanks, The Eliada Home

“…So much is revealed about where they (masters in counseling students)are as they begin the program, and where they plan to go as students and professionals; I appreciate this knowledge as I prepare to teach the students in the program and believe all of our teaching team members could benefit as well. I think the most important benefit of incorporating this into our orientation night is that students take away new knowledge of self and others as they prepare for the academic, social, spiritual, and professional development ahead of them in the program and beyond and that what they discuss and learn through the activities and processing is directly applicable to their work as counselors.”

Last summer you did a leadership intro session and the high ropes course for Circle Christian School. The kids had a blast! I am excited to share that we will be returning again this summer and would like to schedule the other two leadership / team building sessions on the low course and the climbing wall.
